DENVER – Lance Smith, Internet Technology Director for Kentwood Real Estate, has earned the 2009 LeadingRE Website Quality Certification (WQC) designation from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.  LeadingRE created the WQC designation in order to recognize member company websites that are pursuing “best practices” in website design and Internet communications.

 Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska in 2001.  He also completed studies at Advanced Network Technologies in Omaha and Microsoft Security Training in Houston.

Smith’s professional background includes a position as Network Support Specialist for Cabelas in Lincoln and as the IS Analyst for Cornell Companies in Canon City, Colorado.  Prior to joining Kentwood Real Estate as IT Director in 2006, Smith was the Systems Administrator with Mile High Capital Group of Englewood, Colorado.
